{"id":27709,"date":"2025-12-18T12:41:49","date_gmt":"2025-12-18T12:41:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/quickbirdmedical.com\/?post_type=news&#038;p=27709"},"modified":"2026-08-27T13:38:40","modified_gmt":"2026-08-27T13:38:40","slug":"switzerland-diga-reimbursement-2026","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/quickbirdmedical.com\/en\/news\/switzerland-diga-reimbursement-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Switzerland Opens Up to DiGA: First Applications Reimbursable from Mid-2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From <strong>July 1, 2026<\/strong>, Swiss compulsory health insurance (OKP) will cover the <strong>costs of digital health applications<\/strong> for treating depression:<\/p>\n<p>Digital applications for cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for patients with mild to moderate <strong>depressive episodes<\/strong> and recurrent <strong>depressive disorders<\/strong> will be reimbursed.<\/p>\n<p>These digital therapy offerings are aimed at people who suffer from depression and need support, either as a <strong>supplement to traditional psychotherapy<\/strong> or as a <strong>bridge<\/strong> until psychotherapy begins.<\/p>\n<p>For <strong>reimbursement by the OKP<\/strong> to apply, the applications must be prescribed by a doctor with the relevant specialist title.
