QuickBird Medical is supporting the project by <strong>developing a digital platform<\/strong> that accompanies the entire course of the study. The project partner is the <strong>Swiss Cannabis Research association<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"618\" data-end=\"664\">A digital platform as study companion<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"665\" data-end=\"711\">The digital platform takes on central functions that make the study process efficient and traceable:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"712\" data-end=\"971\">\n<li data-start=\"712\" data-end=\"761\">\n<p data-start=\"714\" data-end=\"761\"><strong data-start=\"714\" data-end=\"737\">Onboarding processes<\/strong> for participants<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"762\" data-end=\"868\">\n<p data-start=\"764\" data-end=\"868\"><strong data-start=\"764\" data-end=\"781\">Documentation<\/strong> of the specified quantity limits, sales processes and health status surveys<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"869\" data-end=\"971\">\n<p data-start=\"871\" data-end=\"971\"><strong data-start=\"871\" data-end=\"899\">Education &amp; learning content<\/strong> guiding participants towards more responsible use<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"973\" data-end=\"1085\">Alongside its role as a study tool, the platform therefore also acts as a <strong>digital education instrument<\/strong> and supports participants in learning to handle cannabis responsibly.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1087\" data-end=\"1108\">Aim of the study<\/h2>\n<p>The study aims to examine the <strong>economic and social consequences of a possible legalisation of cannabis<\/strong>. The long-term goal is to provide scientifically sound findings that <strong>support the political decision-making process on the legalisation of cannabis<\/strong>. A central aspect of the study is the question of whether healthy and moderate recreational cannabis use is possible.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1417\" data-end=\"1438\">Size and duration<\/h2>\n<p>In total, <strong>5,000 participants<\/strong> will be able to legally purchase cannabis products over a <strong>period of five years<\/strong> in cannabis practices and pharmacies set up specifically for this purpose. A control group of 2,500 people will have no access to legal cannabis for the duration of the study.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1717\" data-end=\"1844\">The study thereby makes an important contribution to the evidence-based debate on cannabis legalisation in Europe.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1717\" data-end=\"1844\">To the project: <a
