It also draws on DiPA, the <strong>digital care applications<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember1156\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">On <strong>September 6, 2024<\/strong>, <strong>the draft bill<\/strong> for the Nursing Competence Act was published. With regard to DiPA, it contains <strong>the following points<\/strong>, among others:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A <strong>trial year for DiPA<\/strong> is to be introduced, analogous to the DiGA fast track.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>entitlement of people in need of care<\/strong> is <strong>increased from the previous 50 euros per month to 70 euros<\/strong>. Of this, 40 euros is to be for the DiPA itself, while 30 euros may be reimbursed for supplementary support services.<\/li>\n<li>If the DiPA achieves <strong>relief for carers<\/strong>, it is also assumed that this <strong>has a positive effect on those in need of care<\/strong>. To demonstrate this relief, an <strong>evaluation must be submitted<\/strong>. What this may look like is not defined in more detail.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>use of DiPA<\/strong> remains limited to outpatient home care; use in <strong>inpatient care is not provided for<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"ember1159\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Interest groups can submit <strong>statements<\/strong> until <strong>September 30<\/strong>. The <strong>public hearing of associations<\/strong> then follows on <strong>October 2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember1160\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">In theory, DiPA have been reimbursable by the long-term care insurance funds since 2021 in order to support people in need of care or their family carers. Little has happened since then: <strong>not a single DiPA<\/strong> has so far been <strong>listed in the directory<\/strong> by the BfArM.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember1161\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">So far, only DiGA have made it into reimbursement, and their objectives differ from those of DiPA:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-15398 size-full\"
