The results of the ImplementDiGA project have been published after around three years of research and three consensus workshops.
The article in the E-Health Monitor 2025 by McKinsey DACH contains 34 evidence-based recommendations on care with DiGA.
The process behind them is also documented transparently, so it is possible to trace how the recommendations were developed.
Overall, the focus is not on market access alone, but also on wider improvements that go beyond pure study quality: greater availability of information about a DiGA, in the DiGA directory for example, or multilingual information are proposed. According to the report, transferring data, to the ePA for instance, is also one of the recommendations.
The focus is shifting away from mere “market access” towards sustainable evidence and seamless integration into the existing healthcare system.
