Handelsblatt summarises a study by Strategy& (part of the PwC group). It is titled “AI’s 868 billion healthcare revolution”.
It forecasts that the market for products with integrated AI will grow above all in the area of AI-supported business models and through new applications in healthcare.
On the one hand, cost savings of around 646 billion US dollars are possible, on the other, 222 billion US dollars are attributable to new revenue potential.
While annual growth of 5% up to 2030 is forecast for the global healthcare market, the study puts growth in digital health at a hefty 21% per year.
