The online magazine t3n reports on the digital health market segments currently driving growth in Germany. According to the report, the field of digital treatment and care (digital care management, for example) has grown to 2.5 billion euros. Directly behind it come freely available health apps and wearables at 2.1 billion euros.

Video consultations stagnated between 2023 and 2025 at an estimated market volume of 0.5 billion euros. t3n identifies structural hurdles in the healthcare system as the reason.
