On June 23, 2026, France’s CNEDiMTS (part of the French Health Authority, HAS) issued a positive recommendation for Poppins Clinical from BMOTION Technologies.
This marks the first time a true digital therapy has been covered through the PECAN reimbursement channel. Until now, only telemonitoring solutions had been covered under that channel.
Poppins Clinical is:
- An app-based therapy for dyslexia in children ages 7 to 11.
- Cognitive and rhythmic training to complement speech therapy.
- under the provisional reimbursement program under PECAN, while the clinical evidence is being finalized.
PECAN is to France what the DiGA Fast Track is to Germany. The fact that it now also applies to indication-specific therapies is a positive sign, despite the still-unresolved question of the extent to which study evidence collected in Germany will also be recognized in France.
