QuickBird Medical has been commissioned, as part of a Europe-wide tender by Gemeinnützige Gesellschaft für digitale Gesundheit GDG mbH, with the development and overall regulatory responsibility for a medical app supporting the treatment of people with mental illness.
QuickBird Medical prevailed as strategic partner in a competitive selection process. The project comprises the development of a therapeutic medical application that will in future interact with the digital care platform Curamenta. The aim is to measurably improve the quality and intensity of treatment for people with psychiatric conditions through digital support.
In this project, QuickBird Medical takes on not only the technical implementation but also the role of legal manufacturer under the Medical Device Regulation (MDR). The company therefore bears overall responsibility for meeting all regulatory requirements along the product lifecycle.
GDG mbH (Gemeinnützige Gesellschaft für digitale Gesundheit) was founded as a joint umbrella company by seven public-law hospital groups. Its goal is to actively shape the digital transformation of German healthcare. The owners of GDG include:
