In our September newsletter we reported on the draft of the Nursing Competence Act (PKG), which is also intended to give DiPA a boost.
By introducing a trial year, increasing the financial entitlement and allowing the effectiveness of DiPA to be demonstrated through relief for carers as well, DiPA are to be made more attractive.
In its statement on the Nursing Competence Act, the Spitzenverband Digitale Gesundheitsversorgung (SVDGV) highlights additional aspects aimed at further increasing interest in DiPA.
It proposes:
- extending the scope of DiPA to day-care and partial inpatient care.
- making it clearer that DiPA can also serve to convey knowledge or manage care services.
- guaranteeing the monthly reimbursement of 40 euros per DiPA. People in need of care should be entitled to a maximum of two DiPA at the same time. An annual budget of 360 euros should be set for supplementary support services.
- digitalising care assessments in order to increase transparency, objectivity and efficiency.
- enabling nationwide uniform standards by abolishing the regional principle in care. Care services and facilities have so far usually been organised and offered at regional level. For digital services, however, this makes no sense.
