QuickBird Medical has won the tender for the digital care programme ENDO-EVE, funded by the Innovation Fund of the Federal Joint Committee (G-BA). The project aims to improve care for women with endometriosis across sectors and disciplines and to integrate modern digital solutions into treatment.
Endometriosis is one of the most common gynaecological conditions, affecting around one in eight women. Diagnosis, however, often only follows after a delay of up to ten years. ENDO-EVE addresses exactly this and is intended to shorten diagnosis and treatment pathways significantly and to improve the quality of life of the women affected.
The programme comprises:

An AI-supported care portal for study centres and treatment teams for structured data collection, management of individual therapy processes, management of clinical data and direct communication with patients.

A patient-focused app with a 12-week support programme on topics such as pain management, self-confidence, nutrition and family planning.

A direct connection to health insurers’ IT systems to ensure seamless integration into existing care structures.
The overall project is funded with 5.9 million euros and is being carried out under the consortium leadership of Universitätsmedizin Halle. The partners include Institut digitale Frauengesundheit GmbH, Universitätsklinikum Tübingen, Universitätsklinikum Heidelberg (UKHD), DIAKOVERE gGmbH, the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians Baden-Württemberg (KVBW), AOK Baden-Württemberg, GWQ ServicePlus AG and Die Techniker. Further cooperation partners are the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians Saxony-Anhalt, AOK Sachsen-Anhalt, the Berufsverband der Frauenärzte e.V. and Endometriose-Vereinigung Deutschland e.V.
With ENDO-EVE, an innovative care programme is being developed that aims to bring lasting improvements to the treatment options and quality of life of women with endometriosis.
