Who are we searching for?
We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer who enjoys building both intuitive user interfaces and robust backend systems in the medical field. You’ll work on software that makes a measurable difference in the health of patients – with real-world impact proven in clinical studies.
In teams of 3 to 6 other developers, you’ll contribute to both frontend and backend development – including UI implementation, backend architecture, API design, cybersecurity, and overall system integration.
This story of a blacksmith describes pretty well what we consider to be the mentality of a great developer.
About us
We’re a team of 30 people based in Munich developing mobile apps & web apps for customers in the area of medicine and healthcare. QuickBird Medical is one of the very few companies that is certified for medical software development (according to ISO 13485 & ISO 27001). As a result, we count renowned companies such as Roche, Fresenius, Novartis, Techniker Krankenkasse, DAK, Barmer and Charité among our customers.
We are fundamentally driven by two things:
1. building health software that truly helps people
2. developing those products the right way – based on great software engineering practices while pushing the state of the art forward (check our Blog and GitHub)
If you align with those values, we would love to hear from you. Find out more about who we are or discover our employee reviews:
Technical Infos
Developers at QuickBird highly value state-of-the-art software engineering practices. The company was founded by two developers. That spirit is part of our DNA.
Our current preferred tech stack is NestJS/Node.js with TypeScript and React in the frontend. However, we also work with several other technologies in a variety of projects. So if you bring experience with frameworks like Vue and Angular on the frontend, or Django, Laravel, or Ktor on the backend – that’s a plus. In future projects, you’ll actively shape the tech stack together with your team.
You can also find more infos about our concepts (mainly for mobile app development) on our GitHub-Page or our Blog (with > 100k readers). As a young agency, we continuously work on new, exciting projects.
With every new team member this unit test must still pass:
