Dermafy Telemed
Dermafy Telemed is a digital dermatology app that allows users to have skin problems diagnosed and treated easily, quickly, and from anywhere. This means that a visit to the dermatologist no longer involves a trip to the waiting room – it happens right on your smartphone.
The process is designed to be intuitive: Users take photos of changes in their skin and upload the images directly to the app. Within a maximum of 24 hours – though often much sooner – they receive a thorough diagnosis from board-certified dermatologists, a personalized treatment recommendation, and, if necessary, a private prescription. If further clarification is needed, the doctors can request additional photos so that their assessment is based on reliable information.
Challenge
When QuickBird Medical was brought on board, the telemedicine service was already up and running and being used by patients on a daily basis. Our initial task was to completely redesign this established solution to a high standard of quality.
The particular challenge lay in the transition while the system remained in operation. A medical service that users and treating physicians rely on must not go down during the upgrade and migration.

Future
Further development of Dermafy Telemed is already in the planning stages. By integrating with an online pharmacy, users will soon be able to order medications directly, bringing together the entire journey from diagnosis to treatment into a seamless experience. We provide ongoing support for the app and are continuously developing it in collaboration with DERMAFY GROUP GmbH.
